Small Hildoceras Ammonite Fossil in Nodule from Whitby Yorkshire Coast

A small Hildoceras ammonite preserved within its original rock nodule from the Yorkshire Coast.

Dating back approximately 180 million years to the Early Jurassic, Hildoceras is a well known ammonite found in the Lower Jurassic rocks around Whitby.

The ammonite remains enclosed within the surrounding matrix, making this a great little addition to any Jurassic fossil collection.

You will receive the exact specimen shown in the photographs.
