Perfect Centre Matrix-Free Dactylioceras – Whitby Jurassic Ammonite

A genuine matrix-free Dactylioceras ammonite collected from Whitby on the Yorkshire Coast. Preserved within the Upper Lias, this fossil is approximately 180 million years old, dating from the Jurassic Period when a warm sea covered much of northern England.

This specimen has been prepared matrix-free, with the ammonite displayed in an exceptionally well-centred position, making it a particularly attractive example for collectors.
