Dactylioceras tenuicostatum Ammonite Fossil Split Pair – Whitby Yorkshire Coast – Jurassic

A piece containing Gagaticeras and Oxynoticeras ammonites, both from the Lower Lias rocks of the Yorkshire Coast.

These Jurassic ammonites date back around 200 million years, when the area was covered by a shallow marine environment.

A genuine Yorkshire Coast fossil containing two different ammonite species, making an interesting addition to a Lower Lias collection.
