This genuine Dactylioceras ammonite fossil was discovered on the famous Yorkshire Coast near Whitby, one of the most well-known Jurassic fossil locations in the United Kingdom.
These ammonites lived around 180 million years ago during the Early Jurassic period and are among the most recognisable fossils found along the Yorkshire shoreline. This specimen makes an excellent display fossil for collectors interested in Whitby ammonites and Jurassic fossils from the Yorkshire Coast.
Please note: a small amount of adhesive has been applied to the back of the fossil to stabilise the specimen, ensuring it remains secure while on display.
