Rare Fossil Fish Whitby

A very rare fossil fish found near Whitby on the Yorkshire Coast. 

Fish material such as this is very rare to come by. I believe the species is Pachycormus.

This fossil has been prepared using acid to reveal the delicate bones.

The Fossil shown in the pictures is the exact one you will receive. The back of the fossil has been coated in resin to keep it secure.

180 million years old.
