Rare Amauroceras Ferrugineum Double

A rare and nicely prepared Double Amauroceras ferrugineum species of ammonite fossil found near Whitby in Yorkshire.

The ammonite shown in the pictures is the exact one you will receive. It has been professionally prepared from the rock it was found in to reveal the fossil.  This fossil comes with a cut base for display without need of a stand.

This species is sought after and not so commonly found by fossil collectors on the Yorkshire Coast.
