Prep Your Own Unprepped Incomplete Ammonite Fossils – Yorkshire Coast – Fossil Prep Practice – Beginner Pack

A great way to get started with fossil preparation without spending a lot on higher grade specimens. This group contains genuine incomplete ammonite fossils from the Yorkshire Coast, selected specifically as affordable material for practising fossil preparation.

These ammonites have various sections missing, including incomplete whorls and other areas of damage or missing fossil material. They are not being sold as complete specimens, making them ideal for someone new to fossil preparation who wants to practise their skills before moving on to more complete fossils.

They are a great way to learn different preparation techniques and get used to working with Yorkshire Coast fossils. Some specimens may have more fossil hidden within the surrounding matrix, while others may simply provide good preparation practice.

Please note that these are incomplete specimens and may have missing sections, damage, cracks and other imperfections. They are sold as preparation practice material and the final result cannot be guaranteed.

Always wear appropriate eye protection when preparing fossils and ensure children are supervised when using preparation tools.
