Beautifully Prepared belemnite Phragmocone

A Superb belemnite Phragmocone found near Whitby on the Yorkshire Coast.

Belemnites were squid like creatures.

The fossil shown in the pictures is the exact one you will receive. While they are quite a common fossil most don't come prepared like this. This fossil has a cutbase for display.

180 million years old.
